I was recently at a concert, and it was brought up to a photographer there what I do for a living, and he was interested in talking to me. Not to be in the world of porn, but because he found it fascinating to be able to meet somebody in person that does porn movies for a living.
This guy was very bold in his questions, so one of the questions he asked me was: “So what are you? the Hispanic version of Ron Jeremy?”.
Now perhaps he asked that as a joke, maybe he was being insulting. To me it was a great compliment to be compared to the only legend “The hedgehog”. This alone however is not the reason that prompted me to write about it. The issue is that, not 3 days prior to this incident, a close friend of mine made the same comparison. He said when he sees my pictures online, that I remind him of Ron Jeremy… WHOA!!!!!! what a compliment.
I think the comparison is being made because our similar body physiques, and that we both do porn. I mean, I’m sure if you put our bodies side by side you can tell that we are both big around the waist, and hairy.
So let’s step back for a moment and dissect this comparison….. what are our similarities and our differences?. The best way to do this is with a side by side comparison.
